Welcome to Big Fly Softball

 

Our mission is to provide quality skill instruction in developing sound fundamentals, teaching the athletes about the importance of being a student of the game, and help them towards becoming an elite athlete.

 

We offer camps that will help any level and any age of player whether you are new to the game or experienced and want to become better in offense and defense.

 

The highly experienced staff of Big Fly Softball Camp is devoted to teaching you the skills in defense and offense that will take you to the next level of your game. We are committed to giving the best personal instruction to each participant to improve their skills.

Coaches

 

Aaron Jackson – is entering his first year as head coach at Eastern Oregon University.  Pervious to EOU Aaron was an assistant coach at Montana State University Billings, Missoula Sentinel and has also coached numerous ASA teams at all levels.  During the 2009 season MSUB set a school record for wins with 39 and won the GNAC conference title qualifying them for the NCAA tournament.

 

Gary Ehnes - enters his fourth season as the head women's softball coach for the University of Great Falls. Gary has been a part of the softball community in Great Falls for over 20 years. He has coached softball at both Great Falls High and C.M. Russell High from 1992-2006. Between ASA and high school, he has over 200 wins, 2 state championships and one regional championship.

Joey Ehnes - enters her fourth season as an assistant women's softball coach for the University of Great Falls. Joey played collegiately at NCAA II Montana State University – Billings where she racked up numerous awards. Post season accolades started accumulating for Joey as a freshman as she earned 2nd Team PacWest Conference awards in 2002 and 2003. In 2004 Joey was recognized as a member of the 1st Team PacWest Conference and 2nd Team All-West Region as a utility player. As a senior in 2005, Joey was named both 1st Team All-Conference and Pitcher of the Year for the PacWest Conference. Additionally, Joey was honored as a member of the NCAA II Second Team All-West Region and NCAA II West Region All-Tournament Team. Joey was also named MSU-Billings' Female Athlete of the Year and the Little Sullivan Award winner for 2005.

 

 

**Pitchers please bring your own catchers. If the catcher is under 18 they will need catching gear. . If you are only participating in the pitching clinic please arrive at 5pm for registration. ******
